"Shut-er Down" strike infuriates Pakistani Occupational Forces

Afghan Voice - Successful strike in Baluchistan
Balochwarna News - Balochistan: Shutter down protest against killing of eight Baloch
On June 26th in Balochistan the Baloch Republican Party led a Balochistan wide strike in protest of the June 23rd massacre in Sui.  The strike was supported by Baloch Youth Wing, Baloch National Movement, & Baloch National Front.  Gwader, Dera Bugti, Turbat, Passani, Panjgoor, Nushki, Mashkey, Awaraan, Mund and other cities were completely shut down.  All markets were closed and all industrial production was halted.  Pakistani forces, enraged by the striking Baloch workers, attempted to force shopkeepers to open their stores.  Reports indicate the infuriated Pakistani armed forces invaded the homes and assaulted many traders and shopkeepers, as well as their wives and children.

Balochwarna - Two Marri offloaded from bus near Rabi
Since the June 23rd massacre in Sui, The Pakistan military forces have continued their rampage throughout Dera Bugti region of Balochistan.  June 24th the day after the massacre in Sui, Ramzan Bugti S/o Pirjan Bugti was killed by the Pakistani death squads.  Dostain & Ashraf Bugti both relatives of the victims of the previous days Massacre in Sui have been abducted by the Pakistani forces.  On the evening of June 25th Pakistani military and intelligence agencies removed two Marrie Baloch from a passenger buss between Bakhtyarabad and Rabi.  Reports indicate the Pakistani armed forces intercepted the bus and apprehended the two civilians, the victims were escorted to an undisclosed location.  Relatives of the victims have appealed to Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, UN and other human rights organisations for help in securing the safe release of their loved ones.

Yesterday in Sweden and Karachi, the Baloch Human Rights Organization conducted demonstrations protesting the enforced disappearances and extra-judicial killings in Balochistan.  During the demonstration in Sweden, a vigil was held in honor of those who were abducted, tortured, and murdered in Balochistan.
In 1987 June 26th was designated by the United Nations as "International Day in Support of Victims of Torture".  On this day in 1987 the UN enacted the "Convention against Torture".  This act requires UN member states to take effective measures to prevent any form of torture from occurring in their state.  Although Pakistan continues to flagrantly violate international laws, they still enjoy status as UN member state.  The undeniable existence of widespread torture in Balochistan and in many other parts of Pakistan cannot be denied.

On Wednesday, Asma Jahangir, a well known human rights campaigner and former chairperson of the HRCP (Human Rights Commission of Pakistan), publicly appealed to the security and intelligence agencies to "work within the ambit of the Constitution".  Asma also appealed to Baloch separatist forces to temporarily cease hostilities.  She goes on to call for an end to the “double standards of the government and security forces”.  The results of the HRCP `fact-finding` report in Balochistan coincide with the recent report from the CIED which even called upon Pakistan courts to issue arrest warrants for many high ranking military officers.

Deadly Pakistani Military Operation in Sui Leaves 8 Dead and 20 Injured

Balochwarna - Pakistan military killed eight innocent civilians and wounded twenty in Sui Balochistan: BRP
CNN iReport - Occupied Balochistan : Deadliest military operation in Sui,killed 8 civilians and many injured.
The Nation - Six militants killed in Dera Bugti: FC
Yesterday Pakistani armed forces conducted operations in Sui region of Balochistan.  Reports from Dera Bugti indicate 8 civilians were killed and at least 20 injured including women and children, some in critical condition.  Those killed in the attack are Haji Ingali s/o Kher M, Barfi s/o Kher M, Botal s/o Barfi, Murad s/o Dallo.Shahan s/o dallo Yousuf s/o shahan.  Seven of the eight killed were of the same family.  Although the focus of the attack was a family gathering, many Dera Bugti homes were invaded, the residents tortured, valuables looted, and houses burned.  Reports indicate Pakistani FC have refused medical personelle access to the scene, allowing the injured women and children to suffer.
Pakistani Frontier Corps claim the operation was an attack against "militants".  According to the FC spokesman the "militants" attacked a nearby checkpoint with "sophisticated weapons" but in the same statement the FC spokesman claims to have recovered a weapons cache of a few old rifles and "explosives.  A few hunting rifles and conveniently unnamed "explosives" (likely nothing more than garden fertalizer), are hardly what I would classify as "sophisticated weapons".  Its difficult to believe a spokesman who contradicts his own statements.
Indus Tribune - BRP announces strike in Balochistan against Sui Massacre on june 26
A Baloch Republican Party spokesman has issued statements regarding the incident refuting the claims of the FC and condemning the attack as "Part of a Baloch genocide.." BRP spokesman Sher Muhammad Bugti called upon the UN and EU to "take notice of the killing of innocent people in Balochistan".
The BRP have called for another "shutter down" "wheel jam" strike on Wed. June 26th, in protest of the Sui massacre.  BNM as well as BYW & BNF have pledged their support as Balochistan prepares to shut down again.  These strikes are an integral part of the struggle for independence, and essentially cause the state of Pakistan to lose a great deal of money for each Baloch that is abducted or murdered.

Dispite CIED Calls for Arrests of Pakistani Military Officers Abductions Continue Unabated - WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT

The Express Tribune - Inquiry commission calls for arrest of military officers
DAWN.com - Enforced disappearances: Commission received 861 new cases in two years
After pouring through over a thousand reports of abductions, the  Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances (CIED) has recommended filing criminal cases against some 117 serving officials of law enforcement agencies allegedly involved in missing persons’ cases.  Of the 1,172 cases in Balochistan reviewed by the commission over the past 2 years, 757 cases are pending, 415 have been "disposed of".  The immediate arrests of several high ranking officers in Pakistan military has been suggested by the commission, but Pakistani law enforcement remains idle.  Although there appears to be progress on the surface, to help end the practice of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings, it remains to be seen if Pakistani law enforcement and Pakistani courts will actually act on the reccomendations of the CIED.
The Express Tribune - Balochistan unrest: In a surprise outburst, Nisar hits out at security agencies

BBC - Pakistan violence: Gunmen storm Quetta hospital
Daily Times - Three doctors among five kidnapped in Balochistan
As well as this weeks recent attacks and abductions, many of the recent abduction victims in Balochistan have been doctors.
The crippling of a regions medical capacity is often prelude to the deployment of biological weapons.  In primitive times diseased cadavers would be used to poison a regions water supply, this strategy was employed in the mid 1300's at Caffe, and even as far back as Chinese Han dynasty at Red Cliff.  In modern times, when testing the effectiveness of a biological weapon, scientists will remove particular organs (post-mortem) to inspect the effects of the biological agent.  Many recovered bodies of Baloch abductees had multiple internal organs surgically removed.  Generally with organ theft for human resale and implantation the bodies are not tortured, mutilated.  Human Organs taken for the purpose of traffiking are taken only when a buyer exists, therefore generally only one organ is taken from a body.  While bodies used in "scientific" experimentation are often mutilated and vivisected, with multiple organs removed.

Pakistan media attempting to link a conveniently timed LEJ terrorist attack to the BLA desctruction of a monument to slavery.

Balochwarna News - BLA claims attack on Jinnah residency in Ziarat and gas pipeline in Bolan
The Baloch Hal - Editorial: The End of Jinnah?
International Herald Tribune PK - Ziarat: Jinnah's residency to be rebuilt in 3 months
BLA has assaulted and destroyed a long standing symbol of slavery and Pakistani oppression in Balochistan.  The century old house in Jinnah was home to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah the leader of an oppressive regime and a man viewed by Baloch as the instrument of racism, slavery, and  oppression in occupied Balochistan.  Pakistani officials claim they will rebuild the monument to tyranny within three months.

On June 15th Islamic Extremist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has claimed responsibility for a recent attack on a bus carrying female university students and a hospital in Quetta.  Although Pakistani media reports the bus was attacked by a female suicide bomber, the reality is the bus was destroyed by an IED.
Tolo News - Pakistan Using Religious Extremism to Destabilise Afghanistan: Karzai
Pakistani & other news sources have blatantly attempted to link LEJ with BLA by reporting the LEJ Quetta bombing story alongside the BLA attack on the Jinnah slave house in Ziarat.  Pakistani media also failing to accurately report the ensuing siege on the Hospital.  Throughout the recent Pakistani military campaign the Baloch medical community has been severely crippled.  Considering LEJ's choice of target and timing of attack it becomes obvious they are acting on behalf of Pakistan ISI much the same way Al-Queda is used to destabilize particular regions.

Rohrabacher.house.gov - Rep. Rohrabacher Offers Amendments to NDAA; Cuts off Aid to Pakistan
Rohrabacher.house.gov - House Passes Rohrabacher Amendment Tying Human Rights in Pakistan to U.S.
It's no coincidence this LEJ terrorist attack comes one day after United States Congress passes the Rohrabacher Amendment to cease ALL military funding to Pakistan on grounds of human rights violations.  The LEJ bombing itself and the manner in which its being reported is an obvious attempt to rekindle US aid by associating Islamic extremist groups with Baloch freedom movements.  Pakistan government officials have even publicly alleged links between LEJ & Baloch separatist groups.
Baloch independence movement fights with God, not for God (God does not need men to fight for him, and its an insult to God to even suggest such a thing).  By using Islam to justify atrocities LEJ furthers negative opinions and stereotypes of Islam.  The actions of LEJ do not serve God, Baloch or Islam, their actions serve a petty human agenda and are destructive to Islam.

I realize my statements may be unpopular amongst many disillusioned people, but everything I stated above is as per the very Quran they would brandish like a sword.  Allah handed down the Quran as a tool of knowledge, not a weapon, to use it as such is a direct violation of the basic tenets of Islam.  Im not a Preacher, Priest, Imam, or even a Muslim, but I am well read and very learned in history and religion.

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"
"And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for God. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers. (The Noble Quran 2:193)"
"And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for God. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers. (The Noble Quran 2:193)"
"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (The Noble Quran, 2:256)"
"Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam. Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them). (The Noble Quran, 15:2-3)"
"If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed,- all who are on earth! wilt thou then COMPEL mankind, against their will, to believe! (The Noble Quran, 10:99)"
"…Take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus does He command you, that ye may learn wisdom." (Al-An`am 6: 151)

Some of these quotes even go on further on how to deal with groups like LEJ who transgress the tenets of Islam in the name of Allah, but I believe my readers intelligent enough to get the idea. (see Al-Baqarah 2: 190-194 or Al-Ma'idah 5 32-34)
The Baloch freedom movement is a secular one for the freedom of Balochistan, to end tyranny & oppression, not the fulfillment of some immature twisted Jihadist fantasy.  Thanks for reading and if I have offended anyone, such is never my intention, only to present and analyze information to help generate awareness of the ongoing genocide in occupied Balochistan.

CM Malik Baloch continues to plead for peace and submission while Pakistani security forces continue to abduct and kill

DAWN.com - Balochistan CM says he'll take on insurgents, establishment
Reuters - Pakistan tries anew to end insurgency in resource-rich Baluchistan
DAWN.com - Govt to take all on board to resolve Balochistan issue
In an interview with Reuters, the newly appointed Balochistan CM Dr. Malik Baloch promised to take "certain measures" to solidify his position and force negotiations with Baloch independence factions.  Against a wealth of evidence, Pakistani security forces have publicly denied engaging in any enforced abductions or kill and dump activities.  Yet if not the atrocities reported, then what exactly are these "certain measures" the CM is referring to, and where are the courts and trials for those missing Baloch?  Dr. Malik Baloch's rhetoric is little more than a thin veil of excuses to justify vicious military operations and human rights violations in Balochistan.  Pakistani politicians like Dr. Malik Baloch are far more concerned with securing the region on behalf of their Chinese benefactors than helping the Baloch people.

Daily Times - Three doctors among five kidnapped in Balochistan
Balochwarna - Kill & Dump: Three bodies found in different areas of Balochistan
Earlier today in Noshki, Haji Mir Ahmad Mengal and his 2 sons Zahoor & Shabeer were abducted by Pakistani forces.

The Asian Human Rights Commission has also recently issued a report condemning Pakistan's flagrant violations of international Human Rights standards and laws.  The report indicates that between January & April of 2013 244 people have been confirmed as abducted, 11 recovered, 34 extrajudicially killed and another 26 killed during military operations in Balochistan.  Since the release of this report, due to Pakistan military operations conducted over the past few weeks in occupied Balochistan, the number of killings and abductions significantly increased.
The families of abduction victims in Balochistan have now been on a hunger strike for 1175 days.  A BNP delegation has recently visited their encampment and pledged their full support to the families of the victims of abductions and extrajudicial killings.  The family members find the meager offers of compensation for their losses by Pakistan to be petty and insincere, vowing to continue their hunger strike so long as the abductions and killings continue in Balochistan.
